Lisa is currently studying towards Early Years Professional Status, she is, however, fully qualified and experienced in Nursery Care. The Nursery has a Vision which all the Team believe in and promote through a positive ethos throughout the setting. The children in Lisa's group are separated into two smaller groups of 8 children, differentiating activities for the 3-4 year olds and the 4-5 year olds. Independence is encouraged through mutual respect and understanding of each others feelings, taking turns, being kind to each other, helping each other and playing together. We approach the children's learning in a relaxed and gently structured atmosphere within a rich and stimulating environment.

Through topic work, group discussions, activities and observations children become inquisitive and confident learners. Social interactions are fostered during daily routines such as, registration ,storytime and group activities, independence is encouraged through plenty of free choice activities, social responsibilities within the group and opportunities to promote many important self help skills in a supportive way.

A range of activities are available such as PE, Dance and Drama, Science, Art and Craft, Cookery and Music these in turn enhance the Early Years Foundation Stage.

We promote the abilities of each child to become active learners and independent souls. Lisa is looking forward to being a part of your child's life and aiding their transition to School smoothly and happily, thus aiding them on their next exciting journey with confidence and independence.
